Moving Day for Delt and Jean

Delt and Jean Move Back to Indiana
Learn How To Use The Cricut Design Studio. This guide is written by Brandi Gore Dickerson. Brandy has been working in the scrapbook industry for 10 years. She teaches scrapbooking classes at a local scrapbook store in her area and also teaches classes every year at at the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbooking Convention.
Helping with the Move
I was really sad to know that my brother, Delt, and his wife, Jean, were going back to Indiana. It has been so wonderful having them both here in Bryant and so near that I could walk to see them. The whole family here has enjoyed seeing them and I know they also enjoyed the country living and slow pace of Alabama.
Jean needed to be somewhere to gain back her strength and to be in rehab and it’s wonderful that Trish was able to find a place where Jean could get the rehab she needs without being away from Delt. they both are settling in well back in Indiana but we sure miss them here in Alabama.
These pictures were taken the day before they left to go back. We were there helping out with the moving. We had a good meal together and had some of those Margaret Holmes spicy peas that Delt loves so much. Everybody liked them, really.
I’m wishing for a speedy recovery for Jean and that they will both keep loving where they are living now. I know Trish must be glad to have them back with her now.

Karaoke Night at Neva’s!
We all got together at my daughter Neva’s house and sang karaoke. It was so much fun. The kids had a blast too.
I even got up there and belted a few out! I think the picture below mighta been when I was singing Stand by Your Man.
Debbie C. and David gave a soulful performance singing that Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow song, Picture. Debbie H. had a grand time singing along and clapping. She almost broke bad when she heard Genie in a Bottle but controlled herself, ha.
Mary and Grace sang several duets and Destiny joined in on one of those, after coaxing. Neva tore up Before He Cheats and Jason did his own rendition of Seven Spanish Angels. April regaled us with several Stevie Nicks classics and Lennox taught us a new line dance routine. Patty sang a bunch of songs including a duet with April singing a spiritual song that was very moving. Also moving, Debbie and Neva’s duet of Little Brother, the song Deb wrote for David. We couldn’t talk Cat or Eddie into singing this time but they were a great audience. Boo and Preston just played most of the time but did come into the big room to hear Gracie and Mary. I think everyone had a great time.

Halloween Fun with at Neva’s
Witches and Candy Attacks
I went over to my daughter
Neva’s house to give out
Halloween candy this year.
We were disappointed that
so few kids showed up. We
heard on the news that lots
of parents take their kids to
organized parties rather than
trick or treating anymore, I
guess due to those bad people
who were doing bad things on
halloween.
Anyway, we did get visited
by a big witch…
and a little witch….
and we were witness to the
attack of the halloween candy.
The wild candy attacked two
innocent boys, Boo and Preston
and we captured the crime
with our camera:
Here’s poor Preston overcome
by candy attack
And Boo meets the same fate
