It’s been so much fun!
Three things I’ve done a lot of since I’ve been visiting Neva at her petsit: Eat, Shop and Sleep!
One morning, we ate breakfast at a little restaurant off exit 110 called Emma’s.
If you are ever passing by that exit on the way to Nashville, stop by Emma’s because they have the best tenderloin you’ve probably ever eaten.
I finally figured out how to cook tenderloin so that is really tender — in the oven, on very low heat. Emma’s tenderloin is even more tender than mine though.
They have a great breakfast.
I think I slept about 12 hours that day, ha! It’s so quiet and peaceful here that I am resting a lot.
PRATER’S RIBS A HIGHLIGHT!
Last time I came with Neva on a petsit here, we ate at Prater’s Bar-B-Que. I think it’s in Morrison, which is very close to Manchester.
Loretta, Neva’s friend, went with us and we both gobbled those ribs with gusto. They are SO good.
Loretta left me a gift card for Prater’s. It was the best present she could have given me.
We went last night and the ribs were just as good as I remember. I ordered a full rack so that I could have some left over to take home so David, Michael and the others could try them too.
Oh, forgot, we went to the Good Will store in McMinnville before going to Prater’s.
I went to bed very early again and slept, I think, another 10 or 12 hours. Catching up on my rest. My hip is feeling better too. I think the exercise is good for me. It hurt a lot the first day but has felt a lot better since then.
