Looks like more surgery - Update on doctors, etc.

It seems I must have surgery once again

Back from another doctor with an updated report
My daughter, Patty, took me to see an oncologist yesterday, for followup tests and treatment.
I was a little concerned because it was a new doctor.
However, as I walked into the doctor’s office, I saw something on his office wall that comforted me and made me feel safe and secure.
See, I always pray like this before going into any surgery - “Dear Lord, please take the doctor’s hands and guide him, work through him, that if it be thy will, I will be healed.”
What I saw on the doctor’s office wall was my prayer in a picture. It was a picture of a doctor performing a surgery and Jesus stood behind him with his hand on the doctor’s hand, guiding him.
I feel really good about my doctor now.

What the biopsies say and my attitude about it all

Initial findings after my surgery
I got a call from my doctor about the biopsies they did from the growth on my head and the tissue samples from the cervix.
Before I say this, I want to say to everyone I love and everyone who loves me that I believe this is in God’s hands and that worry is not what I want anyone doing.
Worry will only make you sick and how will that help me?
I am praying, and I ask you to pray.
This is not the first time I’ve been told that I had what appeared to be cancerous or precancerous cells.
Then, it turned out to be ok.
I believe it will turn out to be ok this time.
What I’ve been told is that there were cells that were not what they wanted to see (enough about that), in the growth on my head and in the tissue from the cervix. That’s all I know at this point.
Will update the blog as Neva finds time and I thank her for doing this for me.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and thank you for letting God handle this.

After My Surgery

Made it through two surgeries in one day - Feeling Strong
Privacy Policy
Surgery went well and I’m recovering nicely
I would like to thank everyone who prayed for me. I believe. I know that prayers have power. Please continue to keep me in your prayers.
I had my two surgeries about 5 days ago. Everything went fine. I had Neva, Debbie (Howell) and Patty with me and we kept each other inspired.
Patty read a wonderful passage from Psalms. I’m painting a tile with part of that verse on it, because it felt like it was perfect for what I was going thru that day. Debbie (Charles) will have it on her website before long at Jesus Tiles
Since they were operating on my head and my, well, nether regions, I jokingly commented that I hoped they didn’t get the two confused. My doctors took it well.
I had wonderful care, from the doctors who did my surgery to the nurses who checked me in and took care of me after the surgery.
