Welcome to the Health Corner.

My name is Mary and I am glad you’ve come to visit.

I believe being healthy is a gift we give our family. Being able to enjoy playing with my Grandchildren in the yard, and cooking meals that everyone enjoys are a few of my pleasures of daily life.

I enjoy painting and writing too, and will be adding a few of my poems as the Poems and Art Blog grows.

LITTLE ACTOR

My little son,
you are a genius.
Quite posititively a star.
I’m confused as who you are.
Just this morning, you were Rogers stealing space
And moving stars.
Then at midday, unveiled Tarzan
Jumping trikes
And pedal cars.
If the next act should be the Hulk,
Then I’ve quite a bit to fear
For there may not be a remnant
left of table or of chair.
I would wish a soul of Disney’s,
“Mickey” strong and “Minnie” sweet,
Who would take The Little Actor
Off to dreamland,
Fast asleep.

Never tell yourself
Not even once
That you are no good
That you are a failure
That you can’t do anything right.
You might believe it.

Basically
You are good
You are a born winner and able
To do many splendid things

Because
God never gave birth to evil
Never programmed a loser
And never
As he spoke the earth
Into existence
Did God say
“Let there be a piece of junk.”
And God is your
Creator.
