Painting and writing poems have always been something I’ve enjoyed. I am very happy to share a some of my poetry and my artwork here. Thank you for stopping by to visit.

As with most poetry, these poems are about my life, my children, simple pleasures of living and lessons I’ve learned. Maybe your own life has taught you some of the same things, or you have enjoyed some of the same simple joys of living. I hope you like the poems I’ve chosen to share with you!

Do you want to learn to write poetry?

I believe anyone with imagination and experiences that are unique (and isn’t that just about everyone?) can write poetry. Of course, not everyone can be a best-selling poetry author but you can have a lot of fun, express yourself and share something with your friends and family. If you have a website then, through the magic of the internet, it is now easy to share your poems and prose with the whole world! I will also be adding a writer’s corner which will feature good resources for you to hone your own writing skills so please check back often.

I started painting because I wanted to capture all the beauty of nature and God’s creations in bright, brilliant colors and in muted tones of nature. I’ve got creative grandchildren and I will be sharing some of their art here too.
